K-Pax by Gene Brewer

I became interested in K-Pax when a friend recommended seeing the movie. From there I read all 5 books in the K-Pax series.

The story starts with a psychiatrist whose new patient says he is from the planet K-Pax where there is no war, no fighting, no killing of any animals- what sounds as though it is a wonderful place to be.

I don't want to say anything else because if you aren't familiar with the series, you should come into it as I did, not knowing what to expect.

The books are very readable- comfortable reading- that I found I was looking forward to each evening when it is my time to sit and read.

If you get a chance, you may want to try at least the movie or the first book.
