hey which magazines are most receptive to unpublished authors? And what do they like these days? Flash fiction? or short stories? novellas?

I'm doing my own research into this but, any other advice would be cool.

Shorts are what are easiest to sell, from what I've seen, if you wish to send things to mags, since novellas, being longer, are usually reserved for "named" authors, because the "names" are what usually will sell the mag.
