im making like a lil book of my races in my story. im going to put all theire info in it thats gets realeased in the story then i'll release this book after the initial story. what do i need to say about the races

Are you talking race as in ethnic
or
race as in 100 yard dash?

Assuming it is groups of people:

any mythological origins
appearance
laws
personality traits
culture
morals
subdivisions
history
where they live
preferences
friends, enemies
pets
food preferences
clothing
religions

Also, you may wish to put in each race's relationship/history with every other race, as well as any racial attitudes (such as: "we are THE race";) that would have an effect on things in your story. Even in an apparently non-racist culture, there will still be attitudes of this sort...

No, Racer X didn't win. It was a tie between Racer's W, Y and Z. Racer X came in second.
