REALITY

In our ignorance,
We thought we lived
In a world
Of pleasure.

In our knowledge,
We knew we lived
In a world
Of pain.

In our wisdom,
We understand we live
In a world
Of both.

Reality defined by yet another poet. I think this time you've summed it up. Simplistic, to the point, poetic, and thoughtful. I really liked it :)

Wow. I'm a poet myself, but I was absolutely amazed. That was great. It shows such an understanding I thought The Master really knew what they were talking about. (not that The Master didn't.)
Wonderful. Keep writing, Master

True... I enjoyed it very much... Rarely is there such a veiw on the workings of fate and the world that presents that life and be good and bad, woven into one.

Magnificant. What a stupifying, blatently accurate depiction of reality. Myself being a writer of poetry I can honestly say that in these few lines you have made all of my work seem like a child's ramblings.

*grump* I know I'm faced with an excellent poet when he can get across a deep message in twice the number of stanzas it would take me. This is a memorable piece. For the most part, I suppose we're in the stage of knowledge. But if I can find pleasure in this, I can probably surmise that I'm maturing, in some respects at least. Wonderful thing. This poem.
