ok, i'm miserable in algebra 2 and im just wanting to know if anyone els is as well.

oh yeah, and does anyone have any clue how to find the real rational roots, irrational roots, and imaginary roots to a ploynomial multi-power equation?

I have it. I'm in that little crack of sociaty for people who were smart enough to take Pre-Algebra/Algebra early but not smart enough for honors ion high school (despite the fact that my regular Geomatry teacher last year gave us honors curriculem and we didn't get the weighted grade the honors students got).

So I probably could explain it... but maybe not so well over the internet...

ah, MATH. I hate it. I took General Math in HS and barely passed that! Of course the fact that I only drew and day dreamed all class probably had something to do with it. :D

Solutions For Algebra2

All the answers in Algebra2 are exactly the same as Algebra1 . . . plus 1.

Trust me.

I understood Geometry just fine and when I was in Algebra 1 the teacher finished the curriculum early and since we were the "spectra/honors" class he taught us some algebra2. but now that im in algebra 2 it makes no sense!!!!!!! wahh!!!:( the teacher stuck me in the back with all the math geniuses and i dont understand it at all! soo...confused...I cant wait until next year, Honors Trig. i like trig...

I HATED Geomatry! But I can stand Algebra II for ome reason. In fact, I rather enjoy it a little. And my teacher is the only Math one that I've had that I like... also the only Math one that's seemed to like me.

Geometry was my all-time favorite subject. It was the major influence for me to study math in university.

It's funny. I personally believe that most people are one type or the other, mind-set-wise. I have an Algebraic mind. A friend of mine is a Geometric mind. It's possible that if I'd not had a lousy first-year teacher for Geometry I might have understood it better, but for whatever reason, that wasn't the case. One important note: even if you don't like geometry, work hard at it, because if you go to college and take a trigonometry class, the Algebra AND Geometry you learned before will help you immensely!

Whew. It's a good thing I don't plan on taking math after High School.

Ah, but if you are planning to attend college, there are basic requirements that must be met for your general ed courses, and those include mathematics courses...

Thankfully I got 94% in Math last year anyway. I just don't enjoy Math, that is all.

I'm glad that at ISU, where I intend to go, non-Math Teachers only have to take one math course and that's it.

And next year I am taking Trig. FunFun.

Is that a Trig-specific course, or just another part of Math?

The full title is "College Algebra/Triginomatry"

Basically it's Trig specific from what I heard, although the title may suggest differently.

ours is called 'Honors College Preparatory Triganometry/PreCalculus' which means that senior year I'll be in AP Calc. actually, im looking forward to trig. the only part of algebra I can seem to stand is the imaginary numbers and planes. the hard stuff I can grasp, its the easy stuff i dont get. but im looking at a career as a translator or criminal psychologist so hopefully they dont need that much Algebra2. lol

I kind of understood imaginary numbers, but it was my weakest point. I work best at foiling and solving the equations.

woah! equations of higher powers look awesome when graphed. now if i could only figure out how to distinguish the roots. . . .
