has anyone else heard that the world (if we keep it up) is going to run out of fish in 3o years or so? thus starting the downfall or our whole ecosystem...were breaking the chain.

I've read we'll be out of cheap oil by 2050. I also heard last year, I think it was, that in the next few years the demand for chocolate will exceed the supply.

There's going to be a shortage of chocolate. Now that scares me.

Stock up.

A shortage of chocolate? I just got a Hot Chocolate machine! My sister got a three month subscription to the Chocolate of the Month Club! I like chocolate!

really? all chocolate gone? christ! well im sure they'll do something, food flavouring.

im actually glad that i might see te end of the world, or at least the start of it, its a one in a life time chance!

like in those end-of-the-world movies

Middle-earth??? NO WAY! That's ooooold fashion. I know that sounds neat, but it's hard living that way! No toilet paper, modern plumbing, drug stores, tv, movies, video games, pcs or laptops, internet ... you gotta build your own house, cut wood, break your back all day -- yeash. Nah, I say leave middle-earth to Hobbits. I'll take this self-distructing rust bucket, myself. (P.S. I might agree with you somewhere down the road!! )

Neuro, that reminds me of the song, "Nothing but Flowers" by Talking Heads. It's a great song sung by a guy who is in what's basically a Garden of Eden, as he describes it, and he is unhappy, because "once was a Pizza Hut. Now it's all covered with daisies". He's sums up the song with the statement, "I can't get used to this lifestyle!"

how can chocolate run out? its a renewable resource. we might eat more than we can get for a while, but we wont run out.

I think the greens are just trying to scare us into not buying suvs. I mean what could be worse than a world without chocolate.

a world where all of the oil is gone and we destroyed basically every habitat of every animal in our relentless pursuit to feed the demand for more fuel for bigger, more extravagant cars AND there's no chocolate!!!!! great, now i just depressed myself, i need chocolate...

Speaking of Middle Earth, a long while ago my family and I were driving along the highway, near where we get off for our general area, still abot a good half-hour away from our home. We saw some graffette that read:

"Middle Earth Exists" and "Frodo Lives"
