WOW! That's one SMART dog!

Speaking of seizures, I wore a shirt yesterday that was silvery and sparckled in different colored circles that also grew and contracted. It's almost the kind of thing you'd expect to see in the seventies, although it was made for the millenium. THAT thing WOULD give a person a seizure, at the very least cerebral paulsie.

LOL

Some fashion just amazes me.

All this about intelligence. At this stage we only know that they were intelligent -- just how much so we don't know yet. We as humans can be quick to judge a thing. Smaller could mean better, in theory, as they might have had smaller hands capable of more fine-detailed work. They were found on an island, weren’t they? How might they have gotten there? Did they swim there? Lol. They were obviously more advanced than they may be judged as so far.

I agree. Evolution doesn't necessarily meen improvement, just change. It's nothing more and nothing less then adapting.

Hyperion, where did you read that scientists said they used language with their mouths? What I read is that there were old stories about short people who spoke some sort of language. STORIES. Nothing more. Of course, dogs have verbal language as well, but I don't think that's what we're talking about here.

It seems that the hobbits didn't make the tools after all.
