I would say I use to be game.....but at the time I had alot on, I didn't really have the time to engage in a thorough discussion, however I made time which resulted in me delaying Real life stuff.....

And again I would say I just don't have the time....I want to have more time to work on my army of story ideas, not to mention my drawings which is more like like blue prints...I want to get into the more artist side....then there are my songs.....I just need more time....

Of course I would also like everyone to believe but I need more time.....

I really feel, with all these ideas for scifi/fantasy stories that this is where I should be spending most of my free time....

Also I don't have any degree in science, in fact I know very little....about those topics you mentioned.....they are not my interests...general I make a decission on what I read....

Generally I read short summaries on sites like AIG...so I have not read the fully report...I just don't have the time...note ICR and AIG are not linked as far as I know....

Of course you can say what you think of the article....it may be of interest to others...

and I believe in the bible...oh and God.....

Fair enough. I know all too well how time-consuming and real-life-destroying these things can be.

To all the others who have ben reading this thread - are there any points that Dark Knight has raised in his barrage of cut-n-pasting that has you stumped? I would hate for anyone to walk away from this thread with the idea that Young Earth Creationism has any scientific merit - just because no one has seriously challenged Dark Knight's mountain of "evidence".

One-side arguments can often be very persuasive. Exposure to facts is required to weed out the defective ones. In my experience, there is not even a single YEC argument that can withstand serious scrutiny. Therefore I feel it is my moral duty to help point out the false arguments being spread on the internet.

Does anyone else here have any interest in dissecting these arguments?

Your link to the ICR article about helium diffusion in zircons is exactly the kind of thing I am talking about. The poor science and obvious mistakes in that article are a perfect example of how Creation "science" is really just a sham, kind of like a cargo-cult version of science.

To understand why this example is so bad does not really require any advanced degrees, just some basic math and good reasoning skills. If you or anyone else IS interested in this article, just say so and we can take a look at it.

one last point...a length descuission would get us NO WHERE (I feel)....you would stick to your side and I would stick to my side...you have now made it clear where you stand.....

Even if you made a point I agreed with, I would still belive that god exists and that the time from Adam to now is 6000yrs....

I may not go along with everything somesites say but I will stick to my believes
