Sorry, but you need to do your own homework
AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No unkindness intended, but you will grow both as a student and a person if you do your own research. It will help you by giving you training which you will use all of your life both in learning how to discover information for which you are searching, as well as helping you develop skills in analysis and writing.
I wrote a 30-odd page paper on Dune in college. No, I won't send it to you, but I do remember finding two scholarly volumes devoted exclusively to his work. It surprised me to find them, but it only took about 20 minutes with a card catalog and a library to find them. This was before school libraries got computerized, so I bet it would take even less time now.
I think I dcould sum this up quite easily, and in only three words....
I have only read through "The Heretics of Dune" I am sure that the subsequent books will still be good.
I'm reading Dune right now. My sister read it when she was my age, with the same teachers. I think there was alot of stuff from the muslum religeon. Sorry I can;t help you any more then that. I'm only on page 11.
Just for the record I've been done with Dune for over a month now. Great Book!
