Scifi and Fantasy Forum: Games: The New Zelda
The New ZeldaWe have moved to new forum software and posting here is closed!
Has anyone got any information on when the new Zelda will come out. A release date would be helpful mainly because I can not find one. All I know is the graphics look awesome and you can wield your sword while riding the horse.
I haven't seen this topic up and about for a while. It's good to see it back up.
Allow me. Mario
Why wasn't Final Fantasy I on your list Magus?! It's the best console RPG ever.
It's part of "among others"... at least the very origional one that was made for regular nintendo. I honestly haven't played the others that seem to spawn sequels faster then rabbits spawn their young.
Final Fantasy I is the only one I've played. Definitely the best console RPG, though Mario RPG for the SNES could have claimed that title if it had a little more in the side-quest department.
Actually, Xenogears is cool too.
My favorite RPG, I think, will always rest in the Baldur's Gate series. I doubt any game could deviate me from that choice, but I'd be more then willing to give them a go.
Dunno when it's coming out, but I sure hope they put back the old Zelda difficulty instead of what they have now. Wind Waker was good, but I can beat it in like two hours. Plus, on a personal note, they should gives us the Pegasus Boots and Roc's Feather again. It'd make for some AWESOME puzzles now that Zelda's gone 3-D.
I wasn't saying it was better than Baldur's Gate. I said it was the best console-based RPG. For PC, Balur's Gate is a very close second to Morrowind, so close in fact, that this is really just a matter of personal preference.
It's too bad I wasn't even presented with the opportunity to give Morrowwind a fair chance. I hate this computer (That's right, I'm talking about you). It could barely handly Baldur's Gate. Morrowwind it couldn't handle at all.
