Scifi and Fantasy Forum: Games: Arcade Classiscs
Arcade ClassiscsWe have moved to new forum software and posting here is closed!
I am the proud owner of a 1981 Williams Defender - it has pride of place in my front room - you can keep your Halo, Mario this/Mario that, Doom, Quake et al. Nice graphics, great sound but I dare you...nope, I double dare you to suggest that any of them has better gamplay than this classic. Any other classic owners around?
Are you talking about stand-up arcade games? If so then no, I wish I did but no. Galaga is awsome! So's centipede!
Stand-ups, table-tops any - just originals, Galaga was cool, Centipede not my cup of tea, Robotron is the other game I want.
I also enjoy the other classics, something that you just can't quite get over. Pacman has got to be one of the best out there!
It's my dream, when I'm rich and successful, to begin collecting vintage video games (Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Tron, Asteroids, Donkey Kong, Pole Position, Qix, Centipede, Q*Bert, Jungle Hunt, and the like).I'm quite envious of your acqisition.
Asteroids is great!
