80s Series about a family changing dimensions - HELP

Hi guys,
for the last few years I've been looking for a series that I used to watch as a child in Italy.

The series is about a family that is trapped in different dimensons which changes each episode while they try to get home.

I recall them going through a small black piramid with (I think) an eye on top at the end of each episode. And the fact that they were hunted by a bad guy.

Does anyone now the name of the series?

Well... I know it's not Sliders. But I'm afraid that I can't think of any other shows like the one you described.
