This U.S. syndicated show ran from around the mid eighties thru maybe early nineties, about a high tech car (it wasn't Night Rider), in an urban setting. This car was incredibly fast and could even make 90 degree turns around street corners.

What color was it? Was it all modded out or was it more just plainjane?

There was a series called Viper in the 90s (I think it started 1991 or 1992) and it went through several (Perhaps 3) variations. Was on for a year or two, than picked back up a couple years later with different cast, then was revamped again for it's final season, with yet another different cast.

Not Night Rider? I saw this topic and thought immediately that that's what it was. And Speed Racer was Japanese...

I don't know what it could be.

I believe the car was initially black, but then lasted one year and then for the next season and following year the show had a different cast and car color.

Maybe the origional car was recast due to demandning too high of a salery and was convieniently killed off. Comments?

Could it be Automan?

Don't recall the revamp but the car could turn 90 degrees because I think it was a video game brought to life. The series appeared on regular TV so, of course, it was cancelled after the initial run.
