Hi, I hope that someone can help me with this. I watched this show as a kid and I think there were only about 4 episodes before it was taken off the air and I can't find any info about it. It was about this family of 4 (mom, dad, son and daughter) who were at the beach one day. A whirlpool opens up in the water and I think the kids were getting sucked in, the parents went in to save them and they all got sucked into the whirlpool. Then they are shown coming out of the water but everything looks different. I think there is a large eerie castle on a mountaintop/cliff that somehow has to do with them being transported to this other world. Everything in this world is different (ex. the sun is different than our sun and it is slowly killing the family). They are trying to find a way home but meanwhile they try to fit into this society. All the food in this world comes in cans labled "Good Food". They are befriended by a young girl who tries to protect them while some bad guys who suspect the family is not of their world are out to get them.

I haven't been able to find ANYONE who knows what I'm talking about and it's killing me. I think I may have been the only person watching this show. Oh and it's not Land of the Lost, as there were no dinosaurs involved. To anyone that can help: THANKS!!

I had trouble with this one as well. No one knew what I was talking about. The show was called Otherworld.

Thanks for the help! I had read other postings referring to "Other World" but I wasn't 100% sure that was the same show I remembered. I didn't remember the whole pyramid thing. Thanks again. Now I can sleep easy.
