Stuff like pip, sparky, wynona etc are all adlibs by Ben. -------------------------------------------------- Christopher Crowe (crowe@lit.org) Editor - Lit.Org (http://www.lit.org) --------------------------------------------------

Posted By: MerleZ Apr 19, 2001 - 06:16 am | | Looking ahead to the next ep, from the preview, did anyone else think the one alien you see briefly looks like an evil version of the Great Gazoo?
Posted By: Crowe Apr 19, 2001 - 06:49 am | | Okay, I don't know where to start on this: I just got my e-mail alert that someone posted on this board and when I got here, it appearently jogged my memory to a dream I had last night, about FarScape. This is the Second time I've had a dream about the show. I was one of the characters of course, nothing solid on who, but a major part somehow. I dont' remember what the first dream was about, but I know pulse pistols were involved. This dream last night was more vivid and had a very serious tone. Maybe it's the previews of the coming show, maybe it's because I left the tv on last night when I went to bed, who knows. But there was the threat of death, I think there was some sort of infection from a being of some sort. I remember feeling sorrow because they wanted to send John back to earth and get rid of him because he was so much trouble.. heh. I can't remember all the details but It was amazing. Scorpy and Ayren were major parts of it. Man, I love dreaming. I don't know what it means, if anything, but whatever is causing it, I need to find a way to duplicate it. ------------------------------------------------- Christopher Crowe (crowe@lit.org) Editor - Lit.Org (http://www.lit.org) -------------------------------------------------
I didn't pay that much attention MerleZ...but now I'm going to be thinking about it the whole time I'm watching! Farscape dreams Crowe? Boy you've got it bad
Posted By: Crowe Apr 19, 2001 - 05:15 pm | | Man, cut me some slack, I ain't been sleepin much lately. But damn, if you could dream of another world, and pick the one you want, the kind of adventure you want, wouldn't you? Frell yes! I always have very vivid dreams. I'm blessed that way I guess. And let me tell you, firing a pulse pistol is a cool feeling!!! I've felt it first hand! hahaha. ---- Crowe (crowe@lit.org) Editor - Lit.org
Posted By: Bmat Apr 19, 2001 - 06:38 pm | | Crowe- I wonder if that is Lucid Dreaming? I've done a little research on that for another site. Did you control your dream or just watch it?
Posted By: Crowe Apr 19, 2001 - 06:47 pm | | I do both. My dad was a parapsycologist for a while, and he used to do all kinds of dream study stuff on me. Tought me excersises to help me control my dreams. I don't always have control, Sometimes I can only see. But, this is very odd, I "see" what's going on from both camera angle and from the main character's POV, at the same time. I constantly switch between the two. One time I was in a space station, and I need to get to earth, so I just shot myself out the bottom of the thing , flew to the ground and hit it, stood up, dusted of the grass, and went on. People don't often hit the ground in their sleep, I do, all the time. I usually have very, and I mean very vivid and fantastic dreams, and almost ALWAYS in color. I can't express who wonderful the feeling is. It could be why I'm so happy most of the time. Even the nightmare's feel great. I don't feel fear in my dreams, even when faced with death. It's like I "know for sure" its a dream. I love dreaming. Love it, love it, love it. I hate sleeping, but man, do I dream!
Posted By: Bmat Apr 19, 2001 - 06:54 pm | | My most memorable sf dream was when I saw a spaceship land in our back yard. I'd wanted to see ET's until that point, but when the possiblity of contracting disease or other damage from the aliens filled my dream I realized that was not something I wanted. It also made me realize that we should not be trying to contact aliens until we have the upper hand.
