Looking for the name of 80/90's (I think) tv series.
Episode had 4 twilight zone type stories and you had to decide which 2 stories out of the 4 were true stores and at the end of the programme you were told which 2 stories were actually the true stories - please help!

Sounds like "Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction?", hosted by Jonathan Frakes and aired within last 5 years or so.

hi. does anyone remember a kids tv programme involving a bunch of kids who befriend a creature who lives in the sand and he grants them wishes sometimes. he doesn't like granting wishes though because it takes him a lot of effort and hurts him. it might have been set in the past, and may have just been on in england and ireland-please help, it been bugging me for ages!

Cosmo, it was set in what I think was Victorian times in England, and its name was:
"The Return of the Psammead" by Helen Cresswell
There was a previous book called "Five Children and It" but I don't think that one was made into a series for the BBC.

Hope you can help, I've been trying to track down the name of a cartoon series that used to be on (late 80s early to mid 90s??) where the bad guys were all tall black robots and their leader was a smaller white robot that proudly declared himself as "the lowest of the low" I think it was set on another planet. Any info would be appreciated.

I am having trouble finding the name of a science fiction tv series I watched religiously as a young child. I can't find any clues online. It ran in the US in the early 80s.
All I can remember are some bits and pieces. The mane character was a cop and he used a
special suite that had all sorts of special weapons and tech on it. He had a friend that was black and had classes that had a flip top shad covers for each lens. Also another friend that was a living computer or some thing like that. Also the time line of the series seemed to take place in the near future.

Ya I remember that series to but it was not Mantis it was on some time befor that. It came on in the morning eather befor or after the series Superboy. I remember his helmit had a laser beam on it and he had a night stick that shout energy bulits. If I could only remember the name its driveing me crazy.

You're welcome. It was the Superboy clue that tipped me off. And I didn't remember the name of the show, either, but I remembered that Ken Olandt was in it, so I looked him up in IMDB, and searched his roles until I ran across what I was looking for.

Does anyone remember a show about a doctor just out of med school going to another planet? It would have been on Sci Fi channel at least 6 yrs ago. The most interesting thing I remember about it was they did surgery by putting their hands right into the patient. The rest is a blur. help?

I have been trying to remember the name of what I think was a short lived space show that had 4 young people (2 guys, 2 girls) awakened prematurely from cryo sleep. I think they were the last remaining humans and were sent out across space to preserve the human race. I think it was on Sci-Fi channel in the 80's. Does anyone remember this??

I remember that one Starchild, it was I think Scifi Channel's first attempt at their own series.

Does anyone have a clue about an American show, it was definately aired in the UK 1984 ( in the daytime), had some family that ventured to this paradise place & other places. I can only really remember one episode clearly where the family are having a bar-be-cue on this happy world and the main lead guy gets sauce on his shirt, takes it off and suddenly the local ploice woman and her cornies are all blowing whistles - cause he showed flesh which was against their laws and then he has to face the death penalty or something...Sure there was some stuff about a vortex or something but I keep confusing it with Quantum Leap in my head.
Any clues?

hey there trying to find any info on an old scifi tv show all i remember is there were four (could be wrong) 'heroes' and they had their hideout where when trouble aroused they got into their special suits and got to it and the bad guy was some dude that had his lair in a big mountain and his sidekick lackey was this mechanical bird that was made of really shiny metal, wasnt a cartoon
any help appreciated

Or maybe someone else here will have some ideas.
