This is a test. A test of fanfaithfullness (is that a word?). We want the arc, we desire the arc, we are the arc!
Rygel as Captain on a revolving basis, Cool idea to fullfill Moya's desire for a single leader.
They take turns...for now!
Much, much, more later as we have the steaks on the grill and frankly after a few drinks along with a few beers I can only remember the highlights and little of those....need to watch the tape, later, tomorrow even???

Geez, Nomad, at least you've got the picture. I was called away to work, and my wife promised to tape the show (*sigh* not a fan, doesn't even know the characters). SHE **FORGOT**

... is that grounds for divorce?

Nomad, can your TV CC? If so you can read the text of the conversations. Mine works from the VCR because the show is aired in that format and the code is part of the transmission. Besides, I sometimes have to use the CC feature on my TV to understand the dialogue anyways lately. Like when the Old Woman talks!

Right off the bat the first thing I noticed was how Sikozu fits into the crew. I mean we know everyone knows what to do and where to go in a pinch but Sikozu being new aboard Moya also heads to battle stations without being told, even by Capt. Rygel!
"She Smart"; Crichton. (remember the Paklids from STNG?).
Poor Rygel, getting slapped around yet again.
The *Fungus that's Among Us* was a kind of new twist but we have seen Moya in peril before. It being a wormhole parasite was new though.
Welcome to space, Earth Boy.

Filler in middle of episode.

Aeryn being preggers is, sorry, to me lame as I have stated before.
Talking to John later during the episode, Crichton; "Sure you were pregnant, or sure who the father is?". Spare me.
Telling Chiana after she was mum to John in *Promises* is a wee bit strange. A woman's *heart to heart* perhaps?
She should have known; "A secret once told is no longer a secret". Then later she tries to take it back?
So Ka'Dargo knows...who frelling cares?
Aeryn is acting different to her usual character for some reason and I trust the writers will make it clear in the future.

I'm gonna say it again: Space Granny!
Whoa, techno-babble solves all problems ala *Trek*, ummmm, this is Farscape, yes?
Rygel solves all the problems? OK
Afterwards our heartstrings are pulled big time.
Good to see Ka'Dargo as Captain. Warrior that he is. John is a *newbie* to the UT's and even though he understands the wormholes and all it will take a warrior to lead Moya as Captain.
Bottom line is, without doubt, no mater what the writers do with the characters, I still love the show and look forward to each and every new episode.

Asp: not grounds for divorce; however, you are off the hook the next time you forget your anniversary.

Nommy: TV Guide says Crichton and Chiana are trapped in a virtual reality game this week, which makes me suspect Zahn is only back as a memory or a game image.

I'm still lukewarm about this whole season. My basic complaint is the constant use of a crisis every week. I liked the series went it had an A and a B plot. Now the writers seem to feel they have to provide a C,D,E, and F plot, too, and they end up not making any progress on any of them. Ultimately, this plot was: Moya nearly gets killed off (again), only this time instead of burning her guts out, or having a shoot out, or ripping out portions of her, etc., etc., its plants. Once agains she survives so that she can nearly die again in the future. The John/Aeryn story is exactly where it has been for 18 months: I'm not ready, No, wait, I'm ready, but you're not ready, No, neither of us is ready, No, I'm ready again, but you're still not ready, No, You're ready but I've changed my mind, No, You need to tell me when you're ready, and until then, I'm not ready. Who's writing this stuff, the woman who does that CATHY comic? I'm sick of them both.
Also, how can you be pregnant for seven years and just suddenly discover it? What was the trigger? If there was never any clue before, what's the clue now? Other problems: it was totally out of character for Chiana to blab about the pregnancy to Dargo. They aren't an item anymore, and they weren't sharing a quiet moment, they were in the middle of frelling trouble. It was ridiculous. It was also out of character for Rygel to be moping around, at least for something that clearly wasn't his fault.

All in all, I think the producers and writers ought to go back and watch the first season and learn from it. They had a good mix of drama, melodrama, action, and comedy. Now its basically all melodrama and action.
