Posted By: Nomad Apr 22, 2002 - 07:01 am | | ! I missed the episode Friday night. Now I won't see it till re-runs. Do you think they will run the whole season agin before starting the new one?" Hmmmm
Posted By: ZimNova Apr 22, 2002 - 08:25 am | | Nomad, on May 31st the SFC will air a Farscape *chain reaction*...a BIG chain reaction...of 22 episodes on one day. The episodes are still TBA on the schedulebot but I would not be surprised if they re-ran these last 4 of S-3 to get us revved up for the start of S-4 on June 7th. Cross your fingers. ZimNova

This episode totally rocked! MAJOR SPOILERS COMING! : : : : : : : : : : I never would have expected Crais to sacrifice himself for the cause! My mind is boggled here...Crais gone? WOW! I'll miss having him and Talyn around. I for one don't think for a minute that Scorpy is dead. I think he left the ship, and will probably be in hiding for while to avoid the Bitch Queen PK that's out to get him, but he'll be back. So John finally broke through and figured out the worm holes. His little trip with Scorpy was a fun little joy ride...I liked their banter a lot. The explosions were some very decent effects, but the one that took the cake was the death of Aeryn's old PK friend (sorry, forgot her name). When the wall exploded and whatever liquid that was sprayed out on her, the effects shot of her getting chemical burned looked very realistic. It wasn't a "show the boom, cut to burned dummy" kind of thing...it was seemlessly incorporated. Very impressive. Sad for Aeyrn though, I kinda hoped she'd make some peace with her friend. So the previews show the crew breaking up. Not unexpected really...I figured Rygel'd make his bid to regain his throne and D'Argo's got his vendetta. Chiana going to the resistence makes some sense. It sound's like Jool is going to stay on Moya long enough for Pilot to find her home planet. The question is John and Aeryn. I guess John has no where to go until he can perfect the wormhole process, figure out a way to generate one without the benefit of a command cruiser as the power source, and of course figure out what the path back to Earth is. Oh yeah...then there's the fact that John's the focus of the show
Just you wait for the next ep

Posted By: Iznardi Apr 23, 2002 - 08:34 am | | Great Ep (I missed the previous one) but seems like the finale has to be anticlimax. What can they do after that. Predictions here? Always dangerous with Farscape. But if they follow the pattern of former villains becoming allies, than Crichton and Scorpius are going to have to join forces at some point to stop the Scarrans. I'll miss Crais. But I hope they do more with Rygel. The Rygel Family Entertainment Hour would be fine with me.
Posted By: ZimNova Apr 23, 2002 - 09:17 am | | Your right Master, WiSC really rocked. I was struck by the high quality of the production. While shows like Enterprise are running on a shoe string budget and are of poor quality all around, the last 2 Farscape episodes have the look and feel of a feature film. Outstanding sets (they used at least a dozen different ones for WiSC), lots of fully costumed extras moving around as well as 20 or so CGI shots not to mention the 3 min. wormhole trip...Wow! This truly has been *The Season of Death*. I'll miss Crais and Talyn and always, P'au Zotoh Zhann. But of course the story is what really sets Farscape ahead of all the rest. A true rival of Babylon-5's complex story arc. There were thrill's, chill's and enough plot twists to make half a season of most shows. I agree that Scorpius is likely not dead. He's just too bloody tough & smart to have gone down with the commard carrier. Honor in his case is for losers and fools. I think Lt. Braca was able to escape too. That thread hopefully with play out as Scorpy (if alive) will have to deal with Grayza, the PK High Command and the Scarrans with their Charrid allies. There are so many possibilities being laid out for season 4 I tremble with anticipation at the thought of them all. Then there's Moya's current crew. Will they really split up??? I sense a real tear jerker ala *Sleeping in Light* coming up if that's the case. Great Maker I pray TPTB won't send Chiana off or that maybe there will be episodes featuring say, one series about Rygel regaining his throne then another with Chi & Nerri fighting the Nebari then another with Ka D'argo tracking down Macton, all of them interspaced with Crichton and Aeryn (with Jool & Stark?) still aboard Moya joining the fray. The mire mention of their names striking fear into the hearts of their enemies. The legendary renegade Leviathan with her cut throat crew, destroyer of planets, slayer of Gammak bases, taker of eyes! Anyway they play it, it should be fantastic science fiction television without equal. ZimNova
