I just wanted to know if anyone out there read some of the crazy fantasy stories, with weird magic or funny plot. I mean stuff like Piers Anthony. I'm writeing a book now, and most of the magic in it is really wild, unlike my nice orgnized magic in other book's I've written, I just wanted to see what else you guys have come across besides Piers Anthony or maybe Terry Pratchet. Any ideas, from trees that grow hamburgers... (My idea of the perfect tree) to sword that is made out of a magic water ballon (yes this wasn't my idea... but I needed a good example) I just need some ideas....

I read a pretty good fantasy book, I forget who wrote it, but the title was

"Grunts" and is basically about fantasy from the orcs point of view... with M16's and stuff

amusing...

Ever read the MYTH inc. series? Heh... in it one of the books, the two main characters infiltrate an army to disrupt it, and every time they try, their plan backfires and they are promoted.... its my fav in the series
