As far as I know, or that I've heard of, you can't build em yet. There are new inovations around the corner, like the computer implant, but nothing we can use in the next 50 years... Now it would probly be better if you rephrased your question. Do you want ideas on how they could be built in a fictonal wourld? Or do you want information that can help you make a cyborg out of existing technology?

The sites are out there to give good references, possibly for either :shiver:

Go to any major search engine, type in "cybornetic" and then watch the fun. Oh, just watch out for the purple squirrels or the lame Gundam Wing story.

If you're looking for major cyborg action, check movies like Robocop or Terminator. If you want surgical cybornetic enhancements, check out anime or (I suppose) Inspector Gadget. But if you want frightening cyborgs, try Ghost in the Shell or Star Trek references. They have some of the best, IMHO.

actually, you should type in "cybernetic" instead of "cybornetic", if you wish to find what you're looking for...
