World of Darkness from White Wolf decided to end their run after 13 years, which I suppose isn't a bad idea, since over the past two years they have reversed almost everything they ever printed from their first two years.

I was a big fan of the original storyline, but toward the end was actually pretty happy to see it go. If they weren't able to adhere to the original story, they should not have allowed the story to continue as long as it did. However, to end a storyline I don't think you need to end the world the game is hosted in.

Still, the one thing that kinda grinds me is their online RPG, New Bremen, was actually getting off the ground and has a pretty good following of regular players. Well, they've decided to incorporate their end-of-the-world plot into the online game, so the whole thing is going away this year. The storytellers couldn't even say whether it would end next month or by August.

Sad.
