Hopefully I didn't scare you off with my thread title - let me explain myself. I am a student from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and am looking for script for my proposed student film.

I need a (talented) sci-fi writer to write a story based on my ideas and then work with me to develop that story into a script (hopefully longer than one-hour).

I am willing to pay 40$ for a story/script that works as that is the standard price for script at other various script sites. If several people wish to do this project at once a collaboration project would be appreciated. If several writers wish to work on it individually I will pay the script I decide to go with the 40 bucks.

Finally getting to the idea of the project... It is a movie sequel to the book 1984. Critiques made of the movie based on 1984 were that they stuck to the book too much - a sequel is good way to avoid that. The project title (working title) is 1985 to show the natural procession of time among other things. This is the next step to Orwell's vision and if 1984 was about the infallibility of Big Brother, the sequel will be of the fall.

I like to think of my self as a good writer, very creative
