Hi, I’m charlotte from Holland, I found your website through a searchengine, and its realy BEATIFUL!!! Because of your affinity with swans, I thougt I’d better send you an email to ask you a question. I’ve been searching for a painting I once saw when I was 6 years old. It’s a painting of a swan with a bended wing, and underneath the wing stands a man and a women. And its very beautiful!!!!!! [edit. Bmat], and I still don’t know who made the painting. I thought maybe you now it???? I realy hope you know the painting as wel? I realy hope to hear from you! Thanxxx Love Charlotte [Welcome to the site, Charlotte! Sorry I had to edit. Posted By: Odrade Feb 05, 2003 - 11:34 pm | | Charlotte, thanks for coming here. We always like to meet new ppl. Your descrpition was a little vague on your painting. but i think i might know what you are looking for. Wings of Love by Steven Pearson sounds much like it. Maybe you came here to ask because the painting seemed a little sci-fi? Well Wings of Love does look pretty sci-fi. If that is not it, come back and give me a better description and maybe i can find out which painting it is. try Wings of Love first, remember Steven Pearson

Hello I just want to add to these messages that I knew Steven Pearson very well and he was a close friend of the family. He painted many beautiful paintings and had a diverse love of art. He passed away last week and I have today been to his funeral. This has lead me to think more about him and his life so I searched under his name on the internet and found this discussion - I just thought I would add my bit and say to you that Wings of Love is a good choice!! Regards Lara
Posted By: naddy Jun 29, 2004 - 12:50 pm | | hi, i have a painting i think may be by steven pearson, it is of a woman s top half nude in the clouds, and the sun is shining down on a kneeling man with his arms in the air towards the sun ( he looks like a greek god ) he is standing on black and white wavy checked sheet that goes up into the sky. i would love to know the name of this piece - as when i do a search for pearson i only get ' wings of love' coming up.
Posted By: Bmat Jun 29, 2004 - 01:26 pm | | That's all I could find, too, other than a collection of photos and box paintings. Here is an email addy I found at his website. stevepear@hotmail.com
Will he be able to E-mail anyone back B-mat? I mean the lady just said he passed away... just thinking...
Posted By: Bmat Jun 29, 2004 - 04:20 pm | | *smacks head* I should have reviewed all of the messages. Thanks, Battlepaw. Well, all I can say is that this is the only lead I have for reaching somebody in his estate. I didn't do an extensive search, though, so maybe there would be other leads. Perhaps one of the galleries where his works are featured could be contacted for information.
