Can anyone point me to any web site that can do keyword searches on old (1950-1970) sci-fi abstracts?

I am having good luck locating old favorites when I know the author or title, but not if I don't know either.

For example, there was one about a boy who makes a mental connection with some alien jewel. The jewel gives him the ability to grow lost body parts -- discovered when he lost his fingers when his father slammed a door on him. He joins the circus. Later, when he grow up, an insurance company discovers he is repeatedly collecting on accidents that cut off his arm (which regrows).

Another example is one where energy creatures have taken over the earth, and we are "vermin." A young man goes to an alien city and discovers he can mentally manipulate the energy stuff that is used by the aliens, which flows out of concentric colored energy rings. He then discovers that he can create the rings himself. The story ends with him leading a human exodus out of the city on an energy boat on the energy river that flows out of his rings.

How in heck am I going to find these stories?
