PLEASE BOOKMARK THE NEW FORUMS
Posted By: Mogget1 Feb 16, 2005 - 07:20 pm | | Good luck! But I will have to listen to the songs later, as I have to go do my homework before I enter the sleep stage of the day.
Posted By: Phoenix Feb 16, 2005 - 09:08 pm | | No rush. Oh, and I meant "what you think?" for both the pictures and the music.
Kool pictures. Promoting your book, I see. That's what you gotta do.
Posted By: Mogget1 Feb 22, 2005 - 11:01 am | | I saw the pictures. They are great! Do you own the costume, or is it from somewhere else? Because it is really neat. I still haven't gotten around to listening to the music, since it takes so long to download, but I'm sure they are great. I did hear the song from the trailer. That was quite good. PS. Did you get my message?
I listened to the music. It's good.
Posted By: Phoenix Mar 07, 2005 - 05:22 pm | | Thanks. You've all been so suportive! I've just had the most amazing two weekends in Toronto. I went to a gaming convention called Pandemonium 22 (http://www.realmsquest.org) to meet someone who had an interesting film project. It's called The Twelve Knights of the Inner Sanctum" (http://www.sacredknight.com). I ran to this radio station diffusing the Internet where I was interviewed. It's called "Filmmaker's Revue" and it goes live every Saturday at 8pm (http://www.natradio.com). It was a last minute thing. On the Friday morning, just before I left for Toronto, I received the detail of where and where I was going to be. That's why I didn't have time to warn you. But, if anyone is interedted, I got a copy of the interview on a CD. I'll post it on my site sometime soon. Then I ran back to the convention for the masquerade. I had been dressed all day as my Phoenix Character. And yes Mogget, I made it myself. My mom sewed the cape and dress though, but the mask, medallion, and sceptre was me. I WON the costume contest!!! I couldn't believe it! There was some great costumes, but I think my three colour glowing sceptre made me win. Some people thought "too bad that globe doesn't light up..." But YES it DOES! On the next day, I had an interview for an intership as assistant director. I got it too! I'm moving to Toronto for three months. It's not paying but it will give me that experience I need to get that paid job afterwards. Then this weekend I went to help out with "The Twelve Knights" project. They were shooting a demo. I went there to help out with the camera and ended up co-directing! What a week, what a week! I'll post some pictures soon, because I took plenty! ps: Mogget, forgive me for taking so long to answer you, but as you can see, I had a few things that came up last minute. My weekend in Toronto was decided only a few days prior to it. It was fun!

Posted By: Mogget1 Mar 08, 2005 - 07:12 am | | I want to go to Toronto, visit my friend. Sounds like fun, Phoenix.
Hey people, this is my first time at this forum...I've been reading this. How do you publish something? I've got a bunch of stories (unfortunately, none of them are scifi), and I'm working on one of them. When I'm finished, I want to publish it. But I'm wondering how, exactly, to do it. Can anyone please tell me this info? Catashaera aka Shaera
Catashaera, this isn't the best thread to discuss this on. I'll make one in Publishing Suggestions to help get you started.
Posted By: Phoenix Mar 10, 2005 - 08:45 pm | | So, maybe I'll see you Mogget1 in Toronto? That'd be awesome!
Posted By: Magus Mar 11, 2005 - 12:53 pm | | Yeah... and maybe I'll see CelticMoe in Dallas!
okay then...i'll leave then...bye bye...
Posted By: Phoenix Mar 11, 2005 - 02:35 pm | | Catasheara, I hope this doesn't mean you won't visit the other thread (I mean the one made to answer your question)? It should help you. If you want to know how I've published, I'll invited you to read what I've posted on the Literary Magazine forum. Here's the link. http://p219.ezboard.com/fliterarymagazinefrm19.showMessage?topicID=9.topic I hope you enjoy it.
Posted By: Mogget1 Mar 11, 2005 - 05:29 pm | | Sorry. I want to go to Toronto, but I don't think that is a possibility, especially since I live in Vancouver.
Posted By: Phoenix Mar 23, 2005 - 08:48 pm | | Oh well Mogget, next time.... I just got the news that I will not be having a lecture, nor a screening during Ad-Astra. I've applied months ago and the guy couldn't find space! How long before do I have to apply? It's not fair. I spoke with the lady in charge of the dealer's room, (she has been my contact for the event), she told me she reminded him many times. My only chance now, she said, is to ask once there if there were any cancellations. So we'll see then. But I will be having a table in the hallway with other artists, which is good news because all the traffic will be passing before me. So I'll be exposed to more people, meaning I'll have a sunny disposition.

Good luck, Phoenix!

I've made a furum of both the book and the film I made. I've invited the people who've I worked with to share their thoughts and participate in the discussion. I'm inviting you guys too to drop off a word when you're ready. http://77368.aceboard.net/index.php?login=77368 For the pictures of the Pandemonium event where I won the costume contest, and the interview I had on the Filmmaker's revue, see: http://www.phoenixuniverse.com/English/info/archive/toronto.html For pictures of the demo shoot I've participated in see: http://www.soundzintriguing.com/12knights/page1.html have fun!
