Hi

Peter F Hamilton has published his first book of the Commonwealth Saga with Pandoras Star, and it is set to be every bit as gripping and thrilling as his Trilogy the Nights Dawn Trilogy :)

This fist book is in form with current Hamilton sci-fi epics, and is a big doorstop of a book for the first in what will probably be another trilogy - hopefully :)

I have read all of Hamiltons work, and he is one of my favourite sci-fi writers. He is very much into the human alteration thing, with technology always enhancing the standard Human into greater beings that what mother-nature intended :)

Anyway Pandoras is a great read, and I am eagerly awaiting the second book in the series to be published :)
I recommend it highly, especially for Hamilton fans, and also for those who like either John Meany or Iain M Banks Culture novels, as it's similar in scope to those styles of sci-fi.

I just started Neutronium aclhemist, or its a while ago. I can't seem to get started, I find these books to be quite drawn out. I hope they will get better after a while- I just need to get my self motivated. I would really like to hear more of this book if you'd care to elaborate :)

Especially, is there more action, and does he try to intermingle so many different slow-to-start story-lines in that series too? I'd really like to know, since I like his writing style and I'm a great fan of the Mindstar series...
