Favorites: George R.R Martin ~ A Song of Ice and Fire is just brilliant J.R.R. Tolkien ~ Forget Lord of the Rings (though it IS good), his real masterpiece is Silmarillion Douglas Adams ~ Top humor Ones that didn't impress me: Terry Pratchett ~ Funny at times, but story-wise not too impressive, imo. Haven't really read alot of his, though Frank Herbert ~ I didn't get worked up over Dune China Mieville ~ Ditto with Perdido Street Station

Robert Jordan - the Wheel of Time series Frank Herbert - Dune series Philip Dick - Valis Kurt Vonnegut - Slaughterhouse5 Stephen Donaldson-Gap into (conflict,madness,chaos,etc..) Michael Crichton - Prey (I read this book in just under 5 hours it was GREAT!) Robert Anton Wilson - Illuminatus! the Trilogy R.A. Salvatore - I have EVERY book published, except the new one "Two Swords" i think its called hehehe this is just a small sample of the over 300 books i have in my basement. . . im such a nerd!
