I agree, kahlan, that the Hitchhiker books are better than the TV show. The personal imagination is better than television frequently. I still laughed at the TV show even so. It helped that I was already a fan of the books. I wonder if Adams's death might possible motivate a station or two to rerun the show.
The TV series was British, and British TV doesn't always work well outside Britain (no hate mail...I'm not knocking Britain!)
It would also help if the extra head looked and acted less like a fake head
As I'm sure you have all heard, Doug Adams died somewhat recently. This is a great shame and I'm sure his fans were quite shocked to hear it. I would be one of them. I just felt I had to have my own little ceremony for a great guy

I heard that Hitchhikers was a radio show in Britain. Does anyoone know where one could buy the radio show?

My brother has a copy of the radio show that I listened to on a trip once. It's really pretty much the audio to the movie. It made the trip a lot shorter!
