The Nightmare Before ChristmasWe have moved to new forum software and posting here is closed!
i collect it and love it i know all about it i have all this stuff that i could sell for lots of $$$ tell me what you know about the nightmare before christmas
I liked the movie. It was a fun twist on holidays all over. We were supposed to play an arrangement of the score for our band last year but it was, as our band director put it, "Safely hid away under the ears of the big mouse." In other words Disney only sells guitar and piano versions of their music, and rarely anything else, and don't even try to find a band arrangement for one... a good one at any rate.
Anyone can do the arrangements. They just have to pay Disney for the rights. I'm guessing the price is too high, and that's why you can't find anyone publishing band arangements.
Ah, see, here you go: http://www.renegaderegiment.com/RRHistory/RRHistory.htm
I loved it at times and cringed at others (I don't like it when they sing! (Usually.) I was amazed by the animation.
I really enjoyed TNBC. Very creative and fun. That wasn't Disney, though, was it? I thought it was a Tim Burton film?
You are absolutely correct about it being a Burton film. I won't speak about the Great Satan... oh, wait, I just did. Dang!
Tim Burton is a fantastic individual... Big Fish and Batman are also among some of his most exceptional works!
I liked "Beetlejuice" myself. "Monkey Bone" I thought really sucked.
Beatlejuice was rather interesting and had a lot of good merits. And I do agree that Monkey Bone sucked.
Tim burton is amazing, and Danny Elfman needs to be worshipped, hehe. This film is so creepy, but moving at the same time, and depressing as always- but Tim Burton always does that. The music was exceptional, the soundtrack was worth every bit of the money i paid for it. This film is definitly under appreciated.
