Sorry Neuro, the actor was the Englishman Paul Blake. Then again...maybe his mum was Italian.

Man...it's really sad that I know who played Greedo in a movie almost thirty years ago...I need a drink.

lol. Yeah, what's worse than a smartass? A smartass who's smart about what happened 30 years ago! Just kidding, Qray. I'm impressed. Without you I might never have known the actor who played Greedo. Who did the voice for Jabba? That'd impress me more. :)

Took me awhile to find it, and I haven't been able to confirm it anywhere -- it only shows up in one place -- but it seems to have been Michael Pritchard, a Christian comedian and motivational speaker. Interestingly it says nothing about this particular accomplishment on his website. Maybe George Lucas made him sign a non-disclosure agreement....

:)

Neuro - Actually, I erred. Yes, I know...Q get something wrong...boggles the mind doesn't it? ;-])

Larry Ward and Maria De Aragon played Greedo. Paul Blake voiced Greedo.

Well, I always say it's better to be a smarta$$ than a dumba$$ and it's also better to be pi$$ed off than pi$$ed on. ;-])

Hmm...trick me, I think you are. Voice for Jabba who did, ask you? Difficult, says I.

David Barclay, the puppeteer who did the right hand and mouth movements of Jabba (full character name Jabba Desilijic Tiure) did the initial voice (in English) which was later dubbed over. Director Richard Marquand provided the guide-track voice. And finally, yes the same actor to do the voice of Master Vrook Lamar in KOTOR...Ed Asner. The Hutteese(sp) language itself being based off of the real Incan language of Catua.

Am I right? What did I win? ;-])

Ah yes, you're right Fan! As far as I can see it was Michael Pritchard. He did an amazing job. A "Christian comedian" played Jabba. I'd have never of guessed!

That's alright, at least you got round to it Qray! (Greedo.) So, Jabba's full name was Jabba Desilijic Tiure?? That's catchy. Ed Asner seemed to have played Jabba's voice in a Star Wars radio drama, not the film itself. But I'd still reward you with something for all the other info.

Here's something neat on puppeteer David Barclay:

David was hired by Lucasfilm and Stewart Freeborn to help out on the filming of "The Empire Strikes Back" as a teenager. While on set, one of the assistants to Frank Oz, the chief puppeteer for Yoda, became ill and David was selected to replace her. In doing so, he started a career as one of the most sought after puppeteers in both Hollywood and England. Not only did David get to assist Frank Oz in his work, but he also received the opportunity to fully operate the Yoda puppet for a week when Frank was forced to return to his work on the children's show "Sesame Street ... he was chosen to play the most disgusting creature in the "Star Wars" universe, the galactic gangster Jabba the Hutt in "Return of the Jedi.""

We're piecing it together, everyone! ;)
