Just saw it on DVD. I thought it better than the first. I was amazed by the incredible facial expressions and visual detail. The "human" element supports it also. I felt that it could have done with a little less imitation humor, but it was good. It won me over by the last 20 minutes. I liked it. Not a lot, but I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

P.S. I loved the visual layout of the screens and some of the modest but nice features on the DVD. Very clever, I thought.

I liked the movie on the big screen and will buy the DVD when I can get it for a good price. I bought Shrek I last week for $4.50. :)

I thought it was better than the first too. Seemed shorter to me, like there were less plot elements but they were more detailed. That may just be my imagination, it has been awhile since I watched the first.

I preferred the first. I just think it showed so much more of the character's traits and also, as previously stated, more plot.

But the second one was much funnier. The one person playing the elongated trumpet reminded not only myself, but everyine who saw it that I know, about Joe Clark.

Joe is a person who everybody around here knows, he's just that kind of personality. He plays trumpet/composes music. And breaking out into a trumpet solo at a time when it's entirely innapropriate is just up his ally!

LOL
