I think the labyrinth is a classic, all but forgotten in the recent years, but it is on it's own for the imagination and plain weirdness of the story. Bring back Labyrinth!

Agreed. Very good, imaginative movie. The goblins were awsome. Pretty good characters. I even liked David Bowie's character and music.

Two thumbs up from me!

It's out on DVD but very expensive. I am waiting for the price to come down.

Dark Crystal was very expensive for a long time on DVD, I waited and got it just before xmas for less than $19. I am sure Labyrinth will be the same.

It will be fun the see it again it's been a long time.

Pat, if you've got a Walmart nearby, check them (or if you can order from them online), both Dark Crystal and Labyrinth have been under $10 for sometime now. I got Dark Crystal already, but, am still running on VHS on Labyrinth. I consider picking Labyrinth DVD up everytime we go. The most amazingly outrageous DVD deal at Walmart I've gotten recently was the Director's cut of Blade Runner DVD for $3.88 a couple weeks back, it blew my mind to see it so cheap.

Also Amazon.com has Labyrinth for around $13 or $14.

I'm in Canada and unfortunatly Walmart here don't have the same price.

I was in Chicago working for sometimes and I could not believe the prices on DVD at Walmart and Target. But I always check at Walmart, it's usualy one of the best places to get DVD's at good prices.

I don't believe that I've seen this movie yet. I take it that it's good. What's it about?

Labyrinth starred David Bowie as the Goblin King and a very your Jennifer Connely as Sarah.

One night while babysitting her little baby brother she make a wish that the Gobblin King would come and take him away, and he does. So in order for her to get him back, she must make a way through the labyrinth all the way to Gobblin city and the castle. She will be helped on her journey by different characters and we get to watch and listen to David Bowie sing a few songs with muppets :-)

It's very similar to the Dark Crystal except that you have some humans in it, mostly only Sarah and the Gobblin King. It's really not a bad movie, I've always like watching it, still would even if I am now 37 :-)

And beside find me a guy who would not like watching Jennifer Connely for 90 minutes ;-)

...I'm stumped. I can think of no guy, no heterosexual guy at any rate, who would not want that.

***Goes out at 11:20 PM to rent movie.***
