I thought that was a joke. Mel Brooks never makes sequels. He ridicules them, and always points out that they're all made simply for the money.

OH! I just remembered something. It's in a book by Robert Ebert. It's a section entitled "The Best Porn Movie Titles Based off Legit Movies.". I'll post them all when I can get home and to the book. But there's one I do remember:

Saving Ryan's Privates

They need to make a series of films based on David Eddings 'The Belgariad'and then a sequal series based on 'The Malloreon'... that would be really good!

Just read the interview *Shakes head* How could Mel Brooks succumb to such greed. Tsk tsk tsk.

The Thief of Always should be a movie. If you haven't read that book, go do so NOW.

All of the Dark Tower series should be made into movies. I'm not sure how they would measure up. Stephen King has a bad track record for adaptations based on his works. And this is one of his most complex works ever written, acting as a focal point of nearly all of his other works. If they could pull it off then it would be a masterpiece. If they cannot then it would be better left alone then poorly adapted.
