woah, you have too much time on your hands...
but i cant talk.

i do agree wih you fully. it would have been interesting if the movie was rewritten with, not three movies, but seven (i think), as it was not three books that tolkien wrote, twas three parts. it would have made each movie quite shorter, and probably not as suspenseful, yet we may have seen many thingsportrayed in the movie, such as the souring of the shire.

BTW
DOES ANYONE NO THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF A HOBBIT?
is it three foot six? (if you know, can go to the forum under Off the topic conversations?)

namaarie ;)

I just found a Hobbit Name Generator here.

My name is Todo Sandybanks of Frogmorton.

With my site name I would be Gorbulas Sandybanks of Frogmorton.

What's your Hobbit name?

I guess they're going to make "The Hobbit". Jackson will direct. But there is a war going on between who will have the right to distribute it. Jackson is waiting for that to get settled first.

YES! I've been waiting for this since before I saw Return of the King! I hope they also get Ian Mickellen and Ian Holm will both be in on it as well. It just wouldn't be the same without them.

I think that all those actors will return in their parts. It should be a fun film. (If it ever gets made.)

Indeed. It'll at least be a step up from the animated one.

Yes... Come Christmas that's all my sister and I, and the rest of my family to a lesser extent, will do.

Movie, special features, commentary... all feeding the obsessions.

You're going to wait until Christmas to do that?? December 14th it'll be for me... Oh, yes. It will be.

Well, my sister will get it for Christmas. But we'll all rent it as soon as we possably can. But Christmas is when we will own it. That's when we watch the special features and added goodies. To watch those added goodies when you can only have it for 2 days it not only impossable but it's unbecoming of the DVD's. You need the time to cherish them. But we sill watch the extended movie LONG before December 25th.

**And you're right about his name. My mistake.**

Wow! There is a new 6 minute long trailer for the EE for ROTK! Don't watch it if you value your life!!! Why? Because it gives far too much away, including the death of Peter Jackson's character, but if you live off Spoilers, the trailer is on www.lordoftherings.net

It's too late for me, I watched it about four to five days ago. I doubt it gave too much away, there are fifty minutes of new footage, and they only showed a little bit.
